Suffolk Police investigating robbery at Zenith Bank

Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Police are currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred at Zenith Bank in the 1000 block of North Main Street in the Suffolk Plaza Shopping Center.

Police say they received a call at 10:04 a.m. Thursday morning reporting that a man wearing a surgical mask had entered the bank and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled in a dark sedan.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8” to 6’00 tall, weighing approximately 150 to 170 pounds, between the ages of 25 and 35. He was wearing a tan shirt and pants, dark colored shoes and a dark knit cap.
