Update: According to a post on Twitter from the Prince William County Police Dept., Officer Ashley Guindon has died as a result of injuries sustained during the incident. Just yesterday, they tweeted out a picture of the officer, saying she had just been sworn in and was starting her shift this weekend.
Woodbridge, Va. – Three Prince William County police officers were shot Saturday night while responding to a domestic incident, according to a post from the Prince William County Police Dept. on Twitter.
The shooting happened in the Lake Ridge area.
According to police, the officers are being treated for their injuries; it’s unknown how seriously they were wounded.
Police say they have someone in custody.
