2016 ‘Pawscars’ takes over Instagram

The “Pawscars,” a parody of the Oscars, has taken over Instagram.

The contest was created in 2015 and coincides with the 88th Academy Awards.

The Pawscars even have their own “Pawcademy,” which announced its Top 10 nominees on Instagram. Instagram users are able to decide who takes home the coveted Pawscars trophy and $500 worth of prizes.
