Newport News, Va. – Nearly 100 employers are scheduled to attend a career fair on March 9.
The event, HIRE Peninsula, is free and open to the public.
The fair starts at 10 a.m. at the Marriott City Center with the first hour reserved for veterans. All other job seekers can attend from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Raffle drawings are being held throughout the day and a computer room will be available for applicants to apply for jobs online.
The career fair is sponsored by ECPI University, the Virginia Employment Commission, Marriott at City Center, Peninsula Worklink and the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce,
