AMBER Alert for Virginia 3-year-old girl has been canceled; Girl found safe

UPDATE: Virginia State Police say they have canceled the AMBER Alert for 3-year-old Haven Melina Moses. 

According to NEWSPLEX in Charlottesville, Haven Moses was found safe and unharmed, according to the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Department. 

More information will be posted as it becomes available. 


Fluvanna County, Va.- Virginia State Police and Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an AMBER Alert for a three-year-old girl missing from Fluvanna County.

Haven Melina Moses, age 3, is believed to be in extreme danger and was last seen to 5128 West River Road Scottsville, Va.

Police described her as a white female with blue eyes and straight blonde hair, 3″ tall, weighing 30 lbs.

She is believed to have been abducted by 25-year-old James Arnold Moses.

James Moses is described as a white male with brown eyes and straight black hair, 5’4” tall, weighing 130 lbs.

They may be traveling in a light color Honda sedan or in a brown Ford Explorer  plate no. VKS6171.
