Norfolk, Va. - A suspicious package was reported at Gate 5 of Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, according to dispatch.

Virginia Beach Police arrested 28-year-old Khalid Mohamed Abdalla in connection with the incident.
Abdalla has been charged with threats to bomb and is being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
On Wednesday, the FBI said they detained someone for questioning. The base is now operating normally.
Westbound Shore Drive and Independence Road were closed, but reopened at about 8 p.m.
The call came in just before 5 p.m.
Officials tell NewsChannel 3 that this incident is a coordinated effort between multiple agencies.
