Chesapeake, Va. – A bicyclist was taken to a hospital Saturday with serious injuries after being hit by a car.
According to police, a vehicle was exiting a shopping center on Western Branch Blvd. around 4:47 p.m. when the crash happened.
As the vehicle turned onto Western Branch Blvd., a man on a bike was traveling towards the vehicle and was hit.
The bicyclist has serious injuries and was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police have not said if anyone will be charged. The crash is still under investigation.
