Police identify man killed at Portsmouth Wendy’s restaurant

Portsmouth, Va. (WTKR) - Portsmouth Police are currently investigating after a man was shot and killed at a Wendy's restaurant.

Portsmouth Police say officers received a 911 call for a gunshot victim at the Wendy's at 3904 Victory Boulevard at 8:29 p.m.

Once on scene, officers found 41-year-old Clayton Thomas of Chesapeake in the bathroom of the restaurant. He had been shot in the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, no information has been released about any suspects.
