Virginia Beach, Va. (WTKR) - A 10-year-old girl and her family are taking action to support Military Working Dogs by creating care packages filled with toys, blankets and treats.

Kylie Blake has created a GoFundMe account to raise money to create the care packages. She's raised over half of her $2,000 goal in just six days.

"I've always wanted to do something like this but I’ve never figure out how but now that I know how to do it, this is what I’m going to do," Kylie told NewsChannel 3's Todd Corillo Tuesday.

The project has a special meaning to Kylie and her family. She created the project in honor of her late grandfather, who served in the military for four years.
