Norfolk, Va. - Norfolk's Art District is preparing for the first NEON Festival, showcasing the publicly displayed artwork that has popped up around the city.
NEON, which is an acronym for 'New Energy of Norfolk', represents the community of Norfolk's Arts District. The NEON Festival, which takes place on October 15th and 16th, is a family-friendly event for people to discover the art, murals and pops of neon color and light from local and nationally celebrated visual artists.

The festival will also feature some of Norfolk's brightest musicians, comedians and performance artists, as well as delicious food and drinks!
