Norfolk, Va. – Tropical Depression Eleven has formed in the Atlantic Ocean between Bermuda and the Bahamas.
The storm is centered about 675 miles SW of Bermuda and moving slowly west at 2 mph. It is expected to make a gradual turn toward the northwest on Tuesday morning and continue traveling that way through Wednesday.
This system is poorly organized now but is expected to gain some strength over the next few days and could become a tropical storm within the next 24 hours.
Maximum sustained winds are currently about 35 miles per hour.
