Chesapeake, Va. – A man was found shot on a Chesapeake sidewalk Sunday night.
Police responded to a shots fired call in the area of Grady Street and Grady Crescent at approximately 9:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man face down on the sidewalk with an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics transported the victim to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with apparent non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a black man wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans. He fled the scene on foot towards Interstate 464.
There is no additional suspect information at this point in the investigation.
