Police investigating armed robbery at Bojangles in York Co.

York County, Va. – Police need your help finding a suspect that robbed a Bojangles on George Washington Memorial Highway.

It happened on September 7 at around 10:00 p.m.

The suspect grabbed the female manager as she was leaving the store and forced her to go back inside of the Bojangles at gunpoint with a black semi-automatic handgun.

He pushed the woman back through the kitchen into the manager’s office.

The man became angry when the manager couldn’t open the door to the safe, and left through the back door of the store.

The suspect handed the manager a small black backpack with a Redskins logo to put the money into, but he left without the bag.

The man is described as having a stocky build, 5’9″ to 6’1″ and around 175 to 200 pounds.

He was wearing a black long sleeve shirt with a blue short sleeve shirt over it, black pants and dark shoes.

He wore a black stocking cap and a red and yellow bandanna to cover his head and face.
