The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower releases time-lapse video of the carrier’s return to the sea

Norfolk, Va. – The Norfolk-based USS Dwight D. Eisenhower has released a time-lapse video of the aircraft carrier’s return to the sea on Friday.

The Ike spent nearly two years at Norfolk Naval Shipyard for a scheduled docking planned incremental availability (DPIA).

The Navy will hold the next round of testing of the new F-35C aboard the Eisenhower in October.
