The YouTube pregnancy announcement star who was exposed for having an Ashley Madison account confirms the account is his – and that he made it two years ago.

YouTubers Sam and Nia went viral earlier this month when Sam surprised Nia with a pregnancy announcement. Shortly after that, they shared that they suffered a miscarriage right after their pregnancy announcement.

Multiple news outlets have reported that Sam had an account with Ashley Madison, a website designed to help people cheat on their spouses.

In a new video titled “Forgiven,” the couple speaks out about Sam’s Ashley Madison account.

“I did make the account. I made the account two years ago. This is an issue in our past,” Sam said. “This is before I got onto YouTube.”

Sam said he never met anyone through the site and created the account solely out of “fleshly desires and just simple curiosity.”

“We’re all broken – even Christians…,” Sam said. “This is why we need a savior. We’re sinful by nature. And we do stupid things like this. This is what they told us all about forgiveness and second chances.”

Nia says she forgave Sam for creating the account.

“Our marriage is worth fighting for and it always will be,” she said. “Marriage is the real deal and it’s been sealed and it’s worth fighting for, it always will be.”
