Virginia Beach, Va. - Virginia Beach Police say a man was shot and killed at Atlantis Apartments.
Police say just after 9 p.m. they responded to the call of gunshots heard at the 100 block of Sea Cove Court. There, officers found a man shot to death.
The man has been identified as 22-year-old Devontai Michael Snowden.
Friends of the victim tell NewsChannel 3 they do not know who would shoot him or why, but they want answers.
"I lost a good friend, a good guy, you know, and he'd help anybody," says Antoine Chavis. "He's too young. His life was just getting started."
Chavis says the victim does not live in the apartments, but he goes there frequently to visit family and friends.
Police say at this time there is no suspect in custody and no suspect information available.
