Hampton police searching for man who robbed Domino’s Pizza on West Mercury Blvd.

Hampton, Va. – Hampton police are searching for the man who robbed the Domino’s Pizza in the 3000 block of West Mercury Blvd. early Wednesday morning.

The man entered the Domino’s shortly before 2am and demanded money at gunpoint.

He took an undisclosed amount of cash as well as cell phones and credit/bank cards from the employees and then ran away.

Neither of two employees inside were injured.

The suspect is described as a black male,5’6″ to 5’7″, 160lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweat shirt with red sleeves, a blue bandana which was used to cover his face, a black backpack and blue gloves.

Detectives believe that this incident may also be related to the robbery that occurred at the Channelo’s Pizza on July 27th in the 1800 block of Todds Lane.

Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court.  If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00.
