The trial is underway for Jesse Matthew, the man accused of killing UVA student, Hannah Graham.
The trial is being held in Fairfax County. Jesse Matthew is accused of a brutal attack there, that happened ten years ago.
The first witness is expected to be the victim, who has come all the way from India.
The judge ruled on Thursday that she will be able to identify her attacker as Jesse Matthew in open court.
Prosecutors also say they have DNA evidence.
Jury selection began this morning. Legal experts say this will take a while, since a lot of people already have preconceived notions about Matthew.
If Matthew is found guilty, he could face up to life in prison.
