Norfolk, Va. - A man was killed in a fiery crash Tuesday night on I-64 near 4th view.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. a 2006 Lincoln Town Car driven by Marcus Logan was traveling in the eastbound lanes at a high rate of speed. The 29-year-old came to a curve in the road, lost control of the vehicle, and ran off the road into a tree.
The vehicle caught fire, and attempts by witnesses to free him were unsuccessful.
A State Police investigation revealed that weather and speed played a factor in the fatal accident. It is unknown at this time if alcohol played a factor, or if Logan was using a seat belt.
