Virginia Beach, Va. - What better way to spend Memorial Day than down by the water?
NewsChannel 3 spoke to folks at the Rudy Inlet in Virginia Beach.
Crowds of people were down by the Oceanfront celebrating the holiday, but it seemed there weren’t as many people as there have been in years past.
It was not as crowded as it usually gets. Some attributed it to the weather saying the temperatures were a little lower than normal.
That did not stop some folks. Visitors were walking the boardwalk, playing in the sand, getting some sun and spending time with family and friends.
