Virginia Beach, Va. - A body was found near the intersection of Birdneck Road and Laskin Road, according to Virginia Beach Police.
The body was discovered Tuesday morning around 9:00 a.m. by a lawn worker who was cutting grass in a field.
Police say the call originally came in as a report of cardiac arrest but the person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officials cannot say yet if the body was a man or a woman. They spent several hours at the scene taking pictures and gathering items.
It is unknown how the individual died.
