Three Norfolk-based Navy ships to participate in Fleet Week New York

Norfolk, Va. – The San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS San Antonio (LPD 17), and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Barry (DDG 52) and USS Stout (DDG 55) are scheduled to depart from Naval Station Norfolk to participate in the 2015 Fleet Week New York on Monday.

In addition to the U.S. Navy ships, U.S. Coast Guard cutters Sturgeon Bay (WTGB 109) and Spencer (WMEC 905), and four U.S. Naval Academy Yard Patrol boats will participate in this year’s celebration, beginning with the Parade of Ships, May 20.
