Woman involved in Hampton motorcycle crash dies from injuries

UPDATE: The 27-year-old female passenger on the motorcycle involved in the April 28th motorcycle crash died on Thursday, April 30th as a result of her injuries. 

The victim’s identity will not be released because it will identify her husband who was the driver of the motorcycle.  At this point, no charges have been obtained and the investigating officers will confer with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in reference to possible charges against the driver of the motorcycle.


Newport News, Va. – A man and a woman have been taken to the hospital after the motorcycle they were on crashed into the back of a vehicle in Newport News on Tuesday night.

Emergency crews were notified about the accident at 10 p.m.  This occurred at the Denbigh Boulevard overpass.

The woman has possible life-threatening injuries.

All lanes on Denbigh Blvd. had to be closed in both directions.

No other details have been released.
