Virginia Beach, Va. - A woman was found dead in Virginia Beach early Sunday morning.
Police say Crystal Stevenson, 20, was found shot to death outside of a home on Gallery avenue just after 2:15 a.m.
According to witnesses, she was at a party inside of the home when a fight broke out. From there, some people ended up outside and Stevenson was one of them. Moments later she was shot.
Friends of Stevenson told NewsChannel 3 they were holding her and trying to talk to her, but she was unresponsive.
Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Virginia Beach police have not released any information on possible suspects in the case. The homicide unit is investigating.
