Norfolk, Va. – USNS Patuxent, Military Sealift Command’s Combat Logistics Force oiler, will return to Naval Station Norfolk on Monday, March 16 at 4:30 p.m.
For the last three months, Patuxent’s civil service mariners have supported U.S. Naval forces operating forward in both Fifth and Sixth Fleet, providing underway replenishment of fuel, fleet cargo, stores and other critical supplies that enable the fleet to remain at sea, on station, and combat ready, according to U.S. Navy officials.
