Documents: Jesse Matthew choked Fairfax victim during sexual assault

Fairfax County, Va. – New unsealed documents reveal disturbing details about what happened during a sexual assault case in Fairfax County involving the suspect in the Hannah Graham case, Jesse Matthew.

According to these documents, prosecutors say Matthew abducted a woman on a path near her Fairfax apartment in 2005. They say he choked her and sexually assaulted her with his hand.

Matthew’s defense has requested $2,000 for a DNA expert according to our sister station WTVR.

Matthew is scheduled to be on trial June 8. The victim is expected to testify against him.
