UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Andre Hall. The incident is still under investigation.
Portsmouth, Va. - A fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning is under investigation in Portsmouth.
Police received 911 calls reporting the shooting around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Moss Street and Carver Circle.
Officers arrived found 22 year-old Andre Hall of Portsmouth with a gunshot wound to the chest in the 270 block of Carver Circle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives continue to investigate this shooting. They do not have any suspects or motives at this time.
