The fire started at 1:09 a.m. and when units arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming from the second floor.
Firefighters were able to get into the home and they had the fire under control by 1:53 a.m.
Crews say the house has been vacant for some time now.
A resident in the home next to it was taken out because of smoke concerns. The neighbor’s home was not damaged.
