Update: A Chesapeake judge has denied bond for Ronnie Cisko. His preliminary hearing is March 10th.

Chesapeake, Va. - Self-defense. That's how Ronnie Cisko's mother is justifying the murder charges against her son.

This morning, Cisko was arraigned via video.

Police say he killed Chuck Setchel in a bar fight at Zino's restaurant.

NewsChannel 3 received the surveillance video that shows Setchel's last moments. He was hit in the throat, then tackled to the ground.

The video doesn't change the way Cisko's mother feels about her sons charges.

"From what others have seen too it's self defense. I don`t have anything else to say other than I know my son is going to be OK through this, and I feel he was defending himself," Donna Cisko told NewsChannel 3.

Setchel's fiancée Robin Stewart tells NewsChannel 3 she and Setchel were out celebrating the Cowboys win over the Redskins at Zino's. They ran into Cisko and two others at the bar.

The two groups were joking about the game, when Stewart says things turned violent after a few drinks and some name-calling.

Then her Setchel was dead on the floor.

Since our story aired, several of Cisko's family members have reached out to NewsChannel 3.

Cisko's fiancée, Ashley Pughy sent us this statement:
