Suffolk, Va.-Fire and rescue units were called to the 6100 block of Trumpet Drive for a residential fire. Once on scene they found heavy smoke and flames coming from an attached garage.
Four adults and three children will be temporarily displaced and staying with family while there is no power to the home. Estimated damage is about $50,000 to the home. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
