Man wanted for carjacking in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. – Police are searching for a man wanted for carjacking in Norfolk.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m., police were called to the 3700 block of Cape Henry Avenue for a robbery that had just occurred.

The victim, a man, told police that a man came up to him, displayed a gun, and took his 2012 Honda Civic.

The victim did not receive any injuries, police say.

The victim’s car was found on Lead Street, with no suspect inside, a short time later.

The suspect is described as: 20-25-year-old black man, weighing 200 pounds with a mustache and dreads. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, police say.
