A YouTube video shot at an unidentified Target store this past Black Friday shows what happens just before the doors open.
An employee, identified only as Scot in the video’s description, is seen standing on a register’s conveyer belt giving a pep talk to other employees gathered around.
“We will show them that we are not just the best store in this neighborhood, but the best store anywhere,” says Scott in a warrior’s yell. “Because we are more than just a store.”
“ This is a team.”
“This is a family.”
Finally with all he can muster with clenched fist raised he screams.
“THIS. IS. TARGET!!!”
Then he turns and yells, “Let ‘em in!”
