Norfolk, Va. - Norfolk Police are investigating a shooting that took place at the Norfolk Yacht & Country Club on Tuesday evening.
On December 2, 2014 shortly before 5 p.m., police responded to Norfolk Yacht Club located at 7001 Hampton Blvd. for a gunshot disturbance. Once on scene, police found the suspected shooter and arrested him without incident.

55-year-old Ramon P. Ballesteros of the 1200 block of Curie Court has been charged with Attempted Malicious Wounding, Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Willfully Discharging a Firearm in a Public Place.
Ramon Ballesteros, who is an employee of the Norfolk Yacht Club, returned to work intoxicated and fired several shots outside and inside the club, police tell NewsChannel 3.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
