Norfolk, Va. (WTKR) - A homeless man from Norfolk is overwhelmed with the support he's received from across the country after making a simple Thanksgiving wish.
Neal Shytles lives at the Norfolk Union Mission.
He shared with NewsChannel 3 his wish to have a family to spend Thanksgiving with this year.

Since then, a family has stepped up to offer Shytles a spot at their Thanksgiving table this year.

On Thursday, NewsChannel 3 shared with Shytles the outpouring of phone-calls, e-mails, Tweets and Facebook messages our newsroom has received from folks all around the country.
"I really appreciate it. It’s more than I really expected you know," Shytles said.
