UPDATE: One lane in the eastbound direction has now opened up. There is a three-mile back-up to Chesapeake Blvd.
Traffic is also moving from I-64 westbound onto the ramp U.S. 13 North at Hampton Blvd. All lanes of Northampton Blvd. are now open and one of the two lanes on the ramp is open.
Norfolk, Va. – If you’re planning to take I-64 near Northampton Blvd., you may want to take an alternate route.
VDOT says there is a crash on the ramp at Northampton Boulevard and the U.S. 13 North ramp is now closed in the westbound direction.
Crews are now also on the scene of a car fire near Northampton Blvd. on I-64 eastbound. All lanes are closed in this direction.
