Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the scene of an accident Thursday morning involving an overturned tractor trailer at the off-ramp of Route 58 East onto Pruden Boulevard/Route 460.
Emergency Communications received the call about the accident at 8:08 a.m.
The tractor trailer was hauling peanut shell husks. The driver was not injured.
Suffolk Police and crews from Public Works are on scene and detours will be put into place. A portion of the off-ramp is currently blocked.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
