15-year-old shot on Norfolk street

Norfolk, Va. – Police are investigating after a 15-year-old was shot while walking along Mariner Street.

Police were called to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters after the teen was brought in with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

He told police he was walking in the 1000 block of Mariner street, heard a gunshot, and was stuck by a bullet. He could not provide any suspect information.
