Norfolk Police investigating after man shot with a paintball gun by unknown person

Norfolk Police are investigating an incident that occurred early Friday morning where a man was injured after being shot with a paintball gun by an unknown person.

Norfolk Police and Fire Rescue responded to the 3500 block of Seay Avenue around 1:15 a.m. for a possible gunshot victim.

Police located a 52-year-old male suffering from a minor, non-life threatening injury.

After conducting the preliminary investigation, Police determined the victim had been struck with a paintball gun by an unknown suspect in the 900 block of Trice Terrace shortly after 1:00 a.m.

The victim was treated by medics on scene and Police are currently investigating the incident.
