Virginia Beach, Va. - Some of the best runners in the world took over the Virginia Beach Oceanfront this weekend.
They ran the Annual Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon.
The 13.1 mile course took runners through the streets of Virginia Beach - and then along the boardwalk.
One runner ran the race with a paralyzed left ankle.
Over the history of the half marathon, more than $12 million has been raised for charities.
