Norfolk Police say two men were arrested late Tuesday night after a robbery in the 900 block of Spotswood Avenue.

Police say the victim told them that a man had approached him, displayed a gun and demanded money. He then fled from the scene.

When police arrived, they spotted a man getting into a vehicle on 21st Street. When they attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver attempted to elude the officer.

The vehicle was finally stopped in the 3300 block of Gosnold Avenue and the driver and suspect fled on foot.

Both were caught and detained after a brief foot chase.

They have been identified as 22-year-old Mark A. Holmes and 26-year-old Maurice O. Johnson.  They have both been charged with one count each of Robbery and Use of a Firearm. Maurice was arrested for an outstanding Norfolk warrant for Felony Probation Violation. Both are currently in the Norfolk City Jail, held with no bond.

The suspects look just like I thought they would, another set of obama’s sons. One has a parole violation too! Don’t you all wish you had George Zimmerman on your neighborhood watch that took care of scum like these, for free?

I find it odd that although you have arrested 2 ppl more ppl are being robbed in my area! I live in the area where this happened and someone else was just robbed this morning in the same fashion. I truely feel you may have the wrong ppl and I am still afraid.
