Family Dollar store robbed in Chesapeake; suspect wearing gorilla mask

Chesapeake, Va. – Police have responded to a robbery at the Family Dollar store located in the 4300 block of Indian River Road, according to Kelly O’Sullivan of the Chesapeake Police Department.

The store was robbed shortly after the business opened, just before 8 a.m. The two suspects were armed with handguns, one wearing a gorilla mask, and the other wearing a black stocking over their face. The two ran away on foot, police say.
