UPDATE: Suspect arrested in Beach Walgreens robbery case

UPDATE: Police say they have now arrested a suspect in connection to a robbery that occurred at a Virginia Beach Walgreens. 

They have identified the suspect as 25-year-old Matthew Nicholas Anderson. He has been charged with robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and wearing a mask in public. 

He is now being held in the Virginia Beach City Jail on no bond. 

Virginia Beach, Va. – Have you seen the man in the photos? If so, police need your help to identify him.

They say the man dressed in a blue jacket, blue jeans and motorcycle helmet robbed a Walgreens in Virginia Beach last week with a long gun.

This happened on June 13, 2014 at around 4:03 a.m. at the location on 3965 Holland Road.

They say once inside, the armed man robbed the pharmacist  for prescription drugs.
