Armed robbery suspect demands oxycodone pills at Virginia Beach Walgreens

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a pharmacy employee at gunpoint in Virginia Beach.

On Friday, June 13, 2014 at approximately 4:00 a.m., police received a report of an armed robbery at the Walgreens located at 3965 Holland Road.

An employee reported that a male wearing a motorcycle helmet and a dark colored jacket entered the Walgreens with a long-gun, grabbed the clerk, and demanded oxycodone pills while directing the employee towards the pharmacy.

The pharmacist complied and handed over the narcotics.

The suspect then ran out of the store in an unknown direction of travel.

No injuries were reported, police say.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, 5’ 5” to 5’ 6”, medium build.
