UPDATE: Power restored to customers in Norfolk

Norfolk, Va. -Thunderstorms moving through the area knocked down power lines in Norfolk.

Power lines went down at Colley Avenue and 27th Street.

At 10:30 a.m., lightning knocked out power to 3,063 customers, according to Bonita Harris of Dominion Virginia Power.

Power was restored to 919 customers within minutes, Harris says.

All customers had power restored by 11:02 a.m., after 39 minutes.
