Man arrested for shooting pistol at ex-girlfriend in Suffolk

Suffolk, Va. – A Suffolk man was taken into custody after police say he shot at his ex-girlfriend with a pistol over the weekend.

Suffolk police arrested 57-year-old Jarvis McCray Boone.

The victim told police that Jarvis Boone shot at her with a pistol. Police say she was able to run away to a neighbor’s house on Pineview Road, and contacted police.

Police say Boone left the scene in his car, but was later found and taken into custody.

He is being charged with use or display of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
