According to their website, the best place for military retirees is Wyoming. These findings were based on economic environment, quality of life and healthcare.

Behind Wyoming were the states New Hampshire and Montana.

Among the worst places were Indiana, New York and California which scored last on this list.

Where did Virginia rank? Although Virginia has the highest number of veterans per 100 residents, we rank number 15 on this list and last when it comes to healthcare.
