Cute or Creepy? McDonald’s unveils new mascot named “Happy”

McDonald’s newest mascot, or “Happy Meal ambassador,” was unveiled Monday in the United States.

Originally introduced in France in 2009, “Happy” is an anthropomorphic Happy Meal box with a huge set of teeth, arms, legs, and eyes.


The company says “Happy” is supposed to bring “fun and excitement to kids’ meals.
