Chesapeake police officer involved in multi-vehicle crash

A Chesapeake police officer is okay after getting involved in a 3-car crash Thursday afternoon.

The officer was responding to a call when he was hit.

The accident happened at Military Highway and Greenbrier Parkway.

Police say the officer had his lights and siren on when he crossed the intersection.

The cruiser crashed with one vehicle and then another vehicle crashed into them.

All three vehicles were damaged, but no one was injured.
