Fire destroys Chesapeake barn

Chesapeake, Va. – A barn in Chesapeake was destroyed on Friday after a fire broke out.

This happened in the Fentress section of the city.

Crews were called out to the fire in the 2300 block of Carolina Road at around 5:19 p.m.

They were on the scene less than 10 minutes later and found the barn on fire.

All of the animals were able to get out unharmed.

They are still investigating a cause.
