Sinkhole on Colley Avenue causes traffic delays

UPDATE: A temporary patch is down and the road is open. On Saturday, while crews repair the road, traffic control is in place so that drivers are able to get through the area. 

Norfolk, Va. - Crews are on the scene of a small sinkhole that opened up on Colley Avenue in Norfolk.

Police are blocking traffic on Colley Avenue between Southampton and Woodis Avenues.

Public Works and the Fire Department have both been notified.

Traffic is being rerouted around the sinkhole to Southampton Avenue.
